If a case is assigned to a worker who is out, can a back-up worker open and work on cases? Yes, workers will have access to other workers' cases. In many areas of the system, C-IV will provide "last updated by" notes on the page. Additionally, if a worker makes major changes in the case, the worker can set tasks for the assigned worker to complete upon returning. All workers will also be able to use the journal to notate changes to the case.

Can Quality Control be done from C-IV? Quality Control staff will utilize C-IV to view all case and program information, and to record and document results of reviews and/or home calls. QC workers will still need to use the State's Q5i system in addition to C-IV.
