Can the Verification List created by the system be printed out and given to the customer? Yes, the Verification List created by the system may be printed and given to the Customer.

If customers don't qualify for CalWORKs, will C-IV determine benefits for Medi-Cal automatically? Yes, the system will automatically run its Medi-Cal Eligibility Determination and Benefit Calculation (EDBC) rules for customers who are not eligible for CalWORKs.

Will two children from the same family be included in the same Foster Care case? No, within C-IV each Foster Care child has their own case.

If during an intake interview, a customer is unable to provide all the information needed to determine eligibility, can a worker proceed with the interview? C-IV will allow the worker to proceed with the interivew. If the customer does not have all the information, such as required verifications, the worker can leave the case in the pending status until all required information is supplied. C-IV will have a listing of required verifications the worker can print and give to the customer. Upon return of all required information, the worker can run Eligibility Determination and Benefit Calculation (EDBC) and issue benefits.

If a customer is applying for Medi-Cal only, do they have to come in for an Intake Interview? No, the Eligibility worker can use C-IV to determine eligibility using the mail-in or phone application just as is currently done.

Can EDBC be processed when all the information is not entered? There are certain required fields that the worker must enter before the C-IV System will allow him/her to run EDBC. Beyond these fields, workers will have to continue using their knowledge to know when it is appropriate to run EDBC.

If some eligibility information is not entered in the system, will C-IV allow the user to save and continue? Some questions on C-IV's pages are required; the user cannot calculate benefits without entering required information. Beyond these required fields on the page, the user can save and continue if he/she chooses.

Will past budget data be available to access even after updates have been made?Yes, budget records are saved in the C-IV System with the data that was used at that time to calculate that particular budget.

Will C-IV automatically give share of cost information for all people in a Medi-CAL case? Yes.
