Will Child Care providers and their rates be listed in the C-IV System? Yes, Child Care providers and their rates will be listed in the Resource Databank. They must be in the Resource Databank prior to completing a Child Care certificate.

Will Foster Care facilities be listed in the C-IV System? Yes, Foster Care facilities will be listed in the Resource Databank.

Will Collaborators be able to update their own information via the Internet? Yes, if the county chooses to, they can provide Service Providers and Employers with a Welcome Letter that contains their login information.

Do providers need to be listed in the RDB prior to approving supportive services? Yes, all service providers must be in the RDB prior to creating a service arrangement, which is authorization of supportive services in the C-IV System.

What are the parameters for searching for Service Providers within the Resource Databank? Users may search for Service Providers within the Resource Databank by name, location and/or service.

Can we delete providers that no longer exist? Users will not be able to delete Service Providers from the Resource Databank. The status of the Service Provider can be changed to closed and that service provider will not appear on searches performed by staff.

Will the C-IV System indicate who created a Job Order? Yes, every detail page will include a footer that indicates who created the information on that page and the date and time on which it was done. The Job Order Detail page will include this footer, so that the user can identify who created or updated the job order. Additionally, ad hoc reporting will be available so that a user can run a report that identifies who created or updated information and when it was done.

Who will enter Job Orders? Job developers and Resource Databank Maintainers (identified by the county) will be responsible for entering job orders. Employers will also be able to enter their job orders on the external site via their login and password.

When searching in the Resource Databank, can you search for Service Providers in other counties? Yes, Users will be able to search the Resource Databank for Service Providers in other counties.

Will workers update Service Provider information? Only Users with the appropriate security rights will be able to update Service Provider information. Each county will designate which staff should have this right.

Will the Resource Databank be viewable by all users? Yes, certain aspects of the Resource Databank will be viewable to all Users. A few pages will be accessible by the public and all Staff persons (e.g., Service Provider pages). Other pages will be restricted for view by authorized Staff persons (e.g., Employer information). Collaborators will also be able to update their demographic information (using a valid log-in and password), and to update attendance and performance information via the internet.

Who will be responsible for maintaining the Resource Databank? Each county has identified Resource Databank Maintainers who will be responsible for maintaining the Resource Databank. Additionally, some counties contract with other organizations to maintain Collaborator information. In these cases, these organizations will be users of the Resource Databank. Furthermore, most Collaborators will be able to login to C-IV via the Internet to update a limited amount of their own information (contact person, address, phone number, email address, etc.).

How will we ensure accuracy, integrity of info in the Resource Databank? Targeted Resource Databank data identified in the county's Release 1 Conversion Plan will be converted as part of the Release 1 of C-IV. After Release 2 deployment, Resource Databank data identified as being owned by C-IV will be maintained within C-IV. In accordance with county policies, providers may be granted access to C-IV for the purposes of maintaining basic information about themselves and their services. Resource Databank information not owned by C-IV can be accessed via other external mechanisms. Ongoing maintenance of the data is the responsibility of the County.
