How
will the system be rolled out? The
C-IV project has chosen a released based strategy for implementation
where multiple modifications are grouped into identified "releases"
and implemented on a schedule. These releases will be achieve
over approximately 42 months on an office-by-office basis.
Please refer to the county specific timelines on the Time
Line page.
What is the C-IV Project Schedule? Full
system functionality will be achieved by a phased implementation
approach over 42 months, completed in August 2004. These phases
are called releases, and are:
Infrastructure Release: Provides the technical infrastructure
- networks, servers, computers (PCs), printers, facilities and
e-mail functionality.
Release 1: Provides access to resource data banks that
contain Contact and program information for service providers.
Release 2: Includes the bulk of the application. It enables
intake, eligibility, benefit determination, employment services,
individual family planning, integrated scheduling, case assignment,
work flow capabilities, scheduled reporting, hearings, special
investigations, quality assurance and quality control.
Release 3: Completes the remaining functionality of ad
hoc reporting, performance analysis and fraud.
More details and a graphic representation of the release schedule
can be found on the Release portion
of this website.

At
what point
will the counties determine how C-IV functions within their county?
Who will be the contact? Who will make the system changes?
The County Project Manager will work with the appropriate decision
makers in each county. Leaders from each County will have to make
decisions regarding how C-IV is implemented. These decisions will
be developed in conjunction with the Policy Network in early 2003.
